Job Title: Conference department-Manager-Sales & Marketing

Reports to: Manager – Conferences

Job Role:

As an Executive, we want you to:

– Conduct extensive market research to assess the potential of the MCE related services in India from Domestic or International market
– Attend industry functions, such as association events and conferences, and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
– Identify opportunities for Trade shows (at National Level) that will lead to an increase in sales
– Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
– Present and consult with mid and senior level management on business trends with a view to developing new services, products, and distribution channels

Marketing & Branding:

– Evaluate current brand position in the market
– Responsible for content and presentation on Website – Blog – Facebook – LinkedIn – Twitter and Medium
– Develop online and physical marketing collateral to be presented to the clients
– Conduct post-event evaluation in order to determine how future events could be improved

Sales:

– Plan and manage sales visit to companies of a particular sector
– Ensure that all business opportunities are captured and explored
– Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
– Plan approaches and pitches
– Work with team to develop proposals that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
– Participate in pricing the solution/service
– Disseminating information about all business development activities with other verticals so that there is synergy across the company
– Keeping track of customer feedback and getting client testimonials

Management and Research:

– Submit weekly progress reports and ensure data is accurate
– Daily sales calls and market research by visiting the potential clients
– Maintain database of clients – past and current
– Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM
– Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met

Education & Experience: Graduate / Post Graduate degree and 4-6 years of business development experience (preference to hospitality /banking/ Events background)

Competencies Required:

– Demonstrates high level communication skills (includes interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, presentation and representation) with particular ability to articulate concepts/ideas in English and Hindi
– Ability to monitor and drive own performance including: implementation of initiatives/strategies and action plans to ensure successful achievement of agreed outcomes
– Identification of opportunities within the market, and the ability to optimize those opportunities

Remuneration: 6-7 Lacs
