Job Title: Sr. Executive- Product Development

Reports to: Manager- Marketing & Sales (Inbound Tours)

Job Role:

As a Senior Executive, we want you to:

– be responsible for the on-going development and expansion of our portfolio through strategic product management and development
– be responsible for and introduce new products & build on existing product range to meet changing consumer demands
– create new opportunities with luxury hotels and other travel related services, where you will be accountable for the direct negotiation, planning, purchasing and contracting
– analyse product performance data, sales, booking patterns and customer behaviour for product development/introduction and pricing strategies
– actively seek, plan, develop and deliver online marketing opportunities with third party websites – mostly the online travel agents (OTAs)
– organise and conduct product training as-and-when needed for our overseas partners
– check content that is produced (in house and third party) to ensure information is accurate
– maintain thorough awareness of company competitors and their product offerings, including where necessary, competitive analyses
– work on the feedback received and enhance the experiences, wherever desired
– contribute content for marketing collaterals, website and newsletter

– to know about the tribe where women must wear nose plugs, the temple where rats are worshipped and all about the origins of a technique in which both warp and the weft are resist-dyed prior to weaving
– to work well under pressure and have the ability to project manage and multi-task
– be able to travel frequently; such travel may provide little or no advance warning and may occur over weekends and/or holidays.

– spend hours in front of the monitor or days on the road – and be equally passionate about it.
– to have outstanding commercial, negotiation, communication and analytical skills

Qualification: Graduate/Post graduate in Tourism

Experience: 4-5 years
