deciphering bombay-II

The second assignment of the GIBS-Sasol program was similar in theme… but different in execution in every possible way. The group of 30 was divided into 5 teams of 6 each. When the group landed early in the morning, they slept for 6 hours and were then, almost literally, thrown into the city of Bombay – for an amazing race. The group was given various clues to watch the tiffin delivery system, to get to their lunch venue and then be there for their trip through Dharavi. They were given certain instructions (the necessity to use any 2 modes of public transport) and a questionnaire for which they needed to speak to the locals to fill out. All throughout there was one representative of INDEBO shadowing each team through the streets of Bombay. In their travels, they discovered (by accident) markets and local railway stations that they would have never seen otherwise. Their lunch was made at a home and had in a park – like a regular Mumbai person and their prize was one of the souvenirs from a famous local temple.
