The Sasan Gir Forest

The Sasan GIr Forest is the sole home of the pure Asiatic Lion. Other attractions in the sanctuary are Nilgai, Chinkara, Sambhar, Black Buck, the four horned Antelope, the wild Boar, Crocodile, the Indian Pangolin, the Indian Porcupine, Ratel, the Indian Fox and Jackals.

The forest is also rich in 300 species of birds.
